Nighttime Off-Peak Construction! Traffic Marking Renewal Project on Huanghe Road, Beipiao Successfully Completed
Recently, our company seized the low-traffic window period at night to carry out the renewal and application of thermoplastic reflective road markings on the road section near Baihong Times on Huanghe Road, Beipiao City. This project completed the renewal of traffic signs, including directional arrows on the road surface and solid lane-dividing lines. The newly applied ground traffic markings have been officially put into use, further optimizing traffic signage on the city's main arterial roads and enhancing road traffic safety.
To minimize the interference of construction operations with daytime urban traffic, the construction team opted for off-peak nighttime operations. On-site operators used professional marking equipment to systematically complete the full set of processes, including clearing old markings, sweeping the road surface, heating and melting thermoplastic paint, and spray-forming the markings. The newly applied directional arrows feature full contours and clear directions, while the solid lane lines are straight and continuous. The thermoplastic paint bonds firmly to the asphalt pavement, with uniform coating thickness, neat marking edges, and standardized forming results.
Under nighttime street lighting, the thermoplastic reflective road markings exhibit outstanding reflective performance and high visual recognition, effectively guiding vehicles to stay in their lanes, prompting drivers to plan their lanes in advance, and significantly reducing lane-changing and mixed-traffic behaviors at intersections. As a vital urban arterial road in Beipiao City with dense traffic flow, updating and improving the road traffic markings helps streamline intersection traffic order, reduce road safety hazards, and ensure safe nighttime travel for citizens.
